You can find lists online with suggestions of words to use for different letters, but I found it easiest to just look at the pictures and try to fit them to a letter until I had filled out most of the letters. Then I just needed to take photos for X, H and N (Q will have a picture of a question mark).
I hope to publish this book on Blurb and get a bound copy. But the cheapest option (and what we’ve started with) is to print the pages and put them in a binder or photo album.

I made a similar ABC book with my now 5 1/2 year old when he was about 3. We made it nature themed & used a small scrapbook, so I just printed out each photo & stuck it in the book. He used the book to practice writing some of his first letters & still loves it today! Such a great idea!
I have been thinking about a homemade alphabet book too as my daughter has one she absolutely loves but drives me crazy.
Very cute idea!
We make homemade books as little reading books - she makes up a story and finds pictures for it on the computer then we print it out. She loves it, who wouldn't want to read their own book?
I love the simple format you have used to create this Alphabet book! Using content that is relevant to a child's life is always going to be a success - great idea.
Funnily enough, my 3 yo and I have just made our own ABC with stick on ABC stickers, drawing appropriate pictures as we go - not all nessecarily objects (W = "Wake up, please"). My favourite so far, V = vortex (?!) Alfie's ABC by Shirley Hughes is also a lovely ABC book , she is a fantastic illustrator.
This is fabulous. When my kids were younger I had intentions of but never did such a cool project. I love how beautiful the end result looks! Kudos to you, creative mom!
