What might they be learning whilst at play? If we listen in, there is much talk of how to get the water to go from here to there. Did you know that water only goes downhill?
Looks like fun. We used to add lengths of plastic plumbing pipe and plastic guttering to the sand and water play at the child care centre and the children enjoyed experimenting with ways of making long rivers or waterfalls :)

We still have snow in our "sandbox", but we, too, have been getting out the water and seeing what happens. There is something about boys and water...
Sand and water are definitely fascinating, I find it a challenge to build my own landscapes too.
Definitely fun! We have a beautiful day here and have outdoor plans after nap!
