A few weeks ago I got sent a link to a great website encouraging physical activity for kids – Skills for Kids. It is a great resource for parents with active games, skill development ideas and health information for children of all ages.
We tried some great locomotion activities and games from the site – we tried to jump and twist 180 or 360 degrees, we had side skipping races, tried to squash each others feet, shadow each others moves and put one another off balance. And I was definitely not the most agile and able athlete on the field!
